Media Makeup: Every student is offered career assistance and many cosmetic companies, photographers, studios, etc. contact us when they require consultants and freelancers. Media Makeup has an agency which books our freelancers for many jobs and students can join the agency when their skills reach a certain level. Fleurimon: We offer many possibilities, when in school, to have outside jobs (stages) for TV, cinema school, photographers, etc. Of course, often times, it is necessary to speak a bit of French. Skin Art: There is no official job placement scheme, although, we will readily recommend competent students to fellow professionals on demand. No official apprenticeship programs, though should the opportunity arise, I do offer students small jobs or assistant work in our workshop after hours, during the duration of the course they are undertaking. The School of Pro Makeup: The students are strongly encouraged to take advantage of the many fieldwork assignments available to them. The assignments are typically volunteer, but sometimes paid and provide students with valuable real-life experience, as well as with an opportunity to network and expand their resume. We also receive frequent job postings that are displayed on our message board as well as our website. Art & Technology of Makeup College: The college endeavors to offer job placement assistance to its fulltime students, although we never guarantee this and we not offer apprenticeship programs. Students are given plenty of opportunities in the form of practical work experience to develop a body of work to use in a C.V. and portfolio and develop future contacts. We refer to this process as Professional Industry Experience (P.I.E.). Greasepaint: Our agency provides work experience to recent graduates, gradually leading to paid work. |
